Naming convention

Almost all JavaScript programmers follow a naming convention known as lower camel case. It is usually a good idea to follow the conventions of the language we are programming in.

Lower camel case rules:

  1. Identifier starts with a lower capital letter
  2. First letter of subsequent words are capitalized

Examples of identifiers following the convention

  • id
  • lessonName
  • lowerCamelCase
