Introduction to CSS

Why do we need CSS?

From a purely technical viewpoint, we do not need CSS since all it provides is styling. But still, the web would be immensily boring to look at if all web sites looked the same.

It is less about need, and more about want. We do not need food to taste good as long as we get the right ingredients in us, but imagine how quickly you would tire of tasteless food.
